We had our first cricket training day today in Monchy and all struggled with the heat!! Pitch was small but a few locals came out to watch but doubt they were too impressed!

We suffered an injury concern with Bones Hunter getting hit on wrist and now under ice treatment - fitness test in morning.
After the practice Roland Cox ( local organisor) took us to Beaussour cricket international pitch were we were supposed to play but world cup 20/20 knocked that out!

A quiet night ahead with poker and couple of beers due to first match v Dennery tommorrow - all a bit nervous!!
First "dick of the day" won by Steven Laidlaw for his imigration exploits on arrival although Richard just about stole it today fielding bare topped a beach towel wrapped around him - not really superman rather Montgomery Burns but SO close to grabbing award!
With big match looming we went for healthy KFC and joey nailed a 9 piece box and zinger but complained of "meat sweat" half way through but finished in good time!! 5 stone Whinnie order more chicken than his body weight - school boy error!! He wanted to match Joeys order - it's a bit like Amir Khan calling Lennox Lewis gay!
